About Laxmi Vilas Hotel, Udaipur
Udaipur has a glorious history full of legends and chivalry. The city is known for its lakes and beautiful palaces. Maharana Bhupal Singh built the Laxmi Vilas Palace in 1911 as a residence of Mr. Winn Gate. The Palace is over a hilltop overlooking the Fatehsagar Lake.The palace was rebuilt as a Royal Guest House for dignitaries, princes and British officials. The Palace was converted into a heritage hotel by the ITDC in 1969 and run by the Ashok Group. It was named Grand Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel

The hotels offer variety of rooms for its guests according to their needs and requirements. The hotel has 54 rooms including 47 double rooms, 6 Royal suites and 1 Maharani suite. All the rooms are centrally air-conditioned and have attached bathrooms, running hot and cold water, refrigerator, telephone and color television with multi-channel. Maharaja and Maharani suits are equipped with Jacuzzi.
Dining and conference facilities:
The hotel has multi-specialty restaurant Padmini, which serves Tandoori, Sizzlers, Rajasthani, Continental, Chinese and Indian cuisine. The well-stocked bar, Sur Sagar, has 30-seater water hole. The bar offers Indian and foreign brands and exotic cocktails and mock tails. Mouth-watering snacks are also served at the bar.
A multi-functional conference has the capacity to accommodate 110 people. The facilities at the conference room are 45 u-shape seats, 100 theater style seats, 45 classroom style seats, conference system, slide/OHP projector, LCD projector, fixed and cordless mikes and white board.
