Introduction to Naga Lodge Hampi
Located in the midst of the ruins of the mighty Vijaynagar Empire, Hampi is now a UNESCO world heritage site and the intricately carved temples strewn over rocky hills and ruins of the city are a real treat for the eyes. Hampi used to be the capital city to the Vijaynagar Empire and is famous for its monuments. The Naga Lodge Hampi is a popular name among hotels in Hampi and is quite popular among tourists.
Hampi is also called "The City of Ruins" and is an important pilgrimage centre for Hindus. Dotted around the hills and valleys are more than 500 monuments which include beautiful temples, basement of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings and so on.
