The city is known by several titles like 'the Garden City of India', 'The Pub City of India', Fashion Capital of India' and 'Silicon Valley of India'. The city of Bangalore is also known as the stone city because of the huge granite deposits. It is famous for flowers, fine silk and fruits like grapes, guava and mangoes. Vidhan Soudha, the Legislative Chamber of the State Government is the landmark of Bangalore. The museums to visit are the Government museum and Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. The Cubbon Park is 135-year-old park and laid by Lord Cubbon, then Viceroy of India in 1864. Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens were laid by Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan in the 18th Century AD. The Bull Temple, Sri Gavi Gangadhareswara Cave temple and ISCKON temple are religious spots in the city. Other places of tourist attraction are the Nandi Hills, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore Palace and Tipu Sultan's Palace.
